The Bilingual Education Research Associate will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and evaluation of a project focused on preserving Indigenous languages and improving educational outcomes in Northeast India. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders—including school management, parent-teacher associations, community leaders, and development committees—to support data collection, participatory research, and evidence-based program development, as well as analyse field data and contribute to reports. This role requires strong research skills, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to bilingual education integrating both the mother tongue and English.
