We are pleased to announce the 1st Conference on Language, Ecology, and Culture (ICLEC), to be held on 30th September and 1st October 2024, at the North Eastern Institute of Language and Culture (NEILAC), Guwahati, Assam, India, in collaboration with the Laudato Si’ Research Institute (LSRI), Campion Hall, University of Oxford, and the North Eastern Social Research Centre (NESRC), Guwahati. This event is a part of the Festival of Integral Ecology led by the LSRI.

NEILAC announces the 1st Summer Course on “Immersive Language Learning and Articulatory Phonetics” from 08 to 27 July 2024 at NEILAC. This programme is open to UG/PG/PhD students of Linguistics, Anthropology, Social sciences, and all who wish to obtain training in learning North Eastern languages. The application deadline is 15 June 2024. We invite participants who share our vision of supporting the languages of North East India to take part in this enriching and intensive summer course.
